Stocks Grange is a newly created one bedroom self-catering holiday home in a magnificent Georgian mansion at Spark Bridge near Coniston.
There is free onsite parking, secure bike storage and a south-facing patio within 5 acres of idyllic landscaped gardens that you may also share with the neighbouring squirrels, pheasants and roe deer.
You will feel completely at home in this exceptionally high quality Lake District self-catering accommodation for two people. Curl up on the plump sofa cushions in the living room or revel in a late morning lie-in watching the flat screen television from your sumptuous king-size four poster bed. Luxuriate in the double-ended bath or feel invigorated in the rainforest shower after a long day exploring this beautiful part of the Lakes.
All the modern conveniences you would want are here: free wi-fi, blu-ray player, flat screen television, iPod docks in the living room and bedroom, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, double oven. We also provide a well-stocked bookcase of novels, local interest books, board games and decks of cards so you can enjoy a slower pace of life at Stocks Grange.
The washer/dryer, iron and board are housed in the utility room which also has boot-tray, coat-rack and umbrella stand with plenty of space for those waterproofs after a long day on the fells.
There is a large dining table for those delicious meals that you won't be able to resist cooking when you see the well equipped kitchen complete with recipe books. And the breakfast bar means you don't always have to set the table to enjoy your meals!
Towels, table linen and tea-towels are provided and of course that elegant Queen Anne bed is made up for your arrival.
